Workers of the National Drug Quality Control Agency (LANACOME) continue with an indefinite strike over four months of no salary. Despite promises made by the government for the workers to continue work while it sources for finances, they are determined not to work. The National Drug Quality Control Agency, according to the text creating it, cannot finance itself.

Some Cameroonians have accused military men for giving their military uniforms to their civilian friends and relatives despite a ban by the government. As Cameroonians prepare for the National Day on May 20, military officials have reiterated the need for civilians not to wear military or police uniforms else face sanctions.

Parents of pupils writing the common entrance examination in the anglophone regions flooded examination centers of their kids today for protection. Meantime, the whereabouts of four candidates of the common entrance examination kidnapped at government school Kumba station remain unknown.

Journalist Paul Chouta has recieved a 23 months prison sentence for propagation of false information. The journalist is expected to be released soon, given that he has already spent over 24 months in jail.

Many inhabitants of Tadu, Meluf and Mbveh in Bui Division have escaped to the bushes following a military raid. Military forces are said to have burnt down several homes, killing over three individuals in the raid.

Indomitable Lions Head Coach Antonio Conceição has released a list of players called up to participate in the upcoming friendly against Nigeria. Notable inclusions in the team include the return of Christian Bassogog and Indomitable Lions captain, Eric Maxim Choupo Moting.

Former Indomitable Lion, Joseph Antoine Bell has criticised the fact that his dual nationality has constantly come to the forefront to disqualify him from taking up leadership positions in the country. According to him, he should be given the equal rights he had when he was representing the national team in the 90s.
