Hours after her passing away, social media has been flooded with tributes for Cameroonian philanthropist and writer, Thatcher Nshan Tem.

Among those that have expressed their sympathy with the grieving family and community is Ayah Ayah Abine of the Ayah Foundation.

Days ago, he said, “we sent another consignment of a very powerful African traditional medication to Lady Henriette Thatcher. The consignment was given to her mum with whom we discussed and she promised to start administering it on Henriette today”.

“Henriette,” he added, “was in very very terrible shape but we hoped for the better. She left us today for the beyond”.

To Ateh Sandrine of KESAmagazine, the deceased was nothing short of an angel, whose vacuum would be felt for a long time to come.

“I swear if you knew Henriette Thatcher, you’d be crying now. This woman was/is an Angel,” she wrote.

Despite meeting her only once, Ateh noted, it was a memorable encounter: “I met her once and I am grateful for that. What’s your definition of Heart of Gold? Mine is Mummy T.”

Reacting to Thatcher’s passing away, humanitarian movement, Mboko Gang in a statement said she had placed herself as a focal point, giving her all in service to humanity.

“Mummy Henriette Thatcher you fought a good fight and your children, family, friends and the Mboko Gang family will forever be proud of you,” it stated.

Praising its founder’s legacy, Henriette Thatcher’s Lounge noted that it was celebrating her life, and would continue to be a beacon to all in her honor.

“She was a light in this world, and now we need to continue shining her light by carrying it within us in our own lives. Please join us for a celebration of life,” the platform wrote.
