After playing Petro Athletico of Rwanda on Saturday, September 18, 2021, in Luanda, Angola, two members of the 30-man Cameroon delegation are still blocked in Angola.
Cyrille Ngando, a player of Fovu Club of Baham, Cameroon’s representative in the CAF champions league, and West Regional FECAFOOT president Francois Kouedem who was the leader of the delegation are still blocked in Angola.
The two have been quarantined by Angolan authorities after they tested positive for the Coronavirus.
It is still uncertain when the player and the West Regional FECAFOOT president will be able to regain their freedom and return to Cameroon.
The 28 other members of the delegation returned to Cameroon immediately after the match but for Cyrille Ngando and Francois Kouedem.
It should be noted that Petro Athletico of Luanda, Angola eliminated Fovu Club of Baham from Cameroon from the preliminary round of the CAF champions league. After playing a two-all draw in Yaounde, Fovu Club played a zero-all tie in Angola, meaning they’re eliminated from the competition.
