Inhabitants of Bamali in Ndop Subdivision, Ngoketunja Division of Cameroon’s North West Region, allege that the military shot and killed two civilians Thursday night October 25, and dropped their corpses at 3 Corners Bamali.
This, they say followed a difficult Thursday night which was characterized by deafening gunshots, apparently from soldiers and pro independence fighters.
They woke up from the chaotic long night only to see the abandoned dead bodies at Bamali 3 Corners.
It is not clear if the alleged soldiers were engaged in a confrontation, especially given that the victims were said to be unarmed.
The corpses have not been identified.
Cases of deaths are reported daily in the embattled North West and South West regions of Cameroon and the crisis deepens.
The National and international communities have persistently called for genuine and inclusive dialogue.
