18-year-old Princess Owusu-Ansah, has been has been handed a 3-year jail term by a UK court for pouring boiling water on her friend after accusing her of having a romantic affair with her lover in the United Kingdom.
According to The Daily Express and the Sun UK, the young Ghanaian girl carried out the act while recording it on her mobile phone. The video went viral after it was shared on Snapchat.
“She carried out the horrific attack after turning up at the victim’s home in East Dulwich, southeast London, in February,” revealed a source who spoke to local media.
“Princess Owusu-Ansah,18, stabbed her victim in the leg in revenge over cheating allegations involving her boyfriend,” adds the source.
In the viral video, the victim could be seen crying out in pain as a result of the stab, while Princess poured on her boiling water from a kettle.
After being found guilty of the offence the 18-year-old girl was sentenced to three years imprisonment.
The victim who at the time fled into the street and was later taken to Kings College Hospital is currently responding to treatment.
