Antonio Guterres, Secretary General of the United Nations has urged Anglican Bishops Worldwide to pursue peace and justice.
The request was made on the occasion of the just ended All Anglican Bishops gathering which took place in Canterbury.
“These challenges resist easy solutions, but your inspiring teams summoning us to walk, listen and witness together, offers a blueprint for progress,” Antonio indicated.
Cameroon was represented by the RT Rev. Dibo Thomas Babygton Elango Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Cameroon.
This call for peace and justice is timely as the English speaking regions of Cameroon is turn apart by a raging separatists crisis.
Hopefully the message of peace and just shall be carried back home.
