Uncertainty looms over death of young entrepreneur in Yaoundé

Official sources are yet to confirm the exact reason for the demise of Tchonghem Karen, aka Karen Knowles, a Yaounde-based business woman and Student.

She died in June 4 in hospital after what is alleged to be poisoning.

Media sources say she had lunch and wax heading home when she began throwing up in a taxi. She later died shortly after being rushed to hospital.

Some social media platforms quote the driver of the taco that took her to hospital as saying the fiends she had lunch with where eager to have her go home. The ladies are said to have been so eager that they asked the driver not to bother collecting the balance of their transport after paying the driver.

They didn’t make it home however as her situation grew worse and she was rushed to hospital where she died.

No official medical report however has cited the exact cause of death, and no family member or administrative official has made any official statement regarding the business lady’s demise.

Karen’s death happened withing a month of her opening her beauty saloon in Yaoundé, a move many have believe was linked to her death.
