Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute has called on council officials to enforce the decision of imposing fines on people who violate the obligatory wearing of face masks.
The meeting chaired by the Prime Minister Friday July 10th, 2020, comes when most COVID-19 patients in the North West region of Cameroon are skeptical to take drugs prescribed in government hospitals in the region.
According to a statistical report made public July 7th by the North West regional delegate of public health, Dr. Kingsley Che Soh, some COVID-19 patients have opted for other medications rather than those provided by the national protocol for the fight against coronavirus.
