A 60-year-old woman has died after being hit by a speeding commercial bike in a village, located in the Penka-Michel Subdivision in the West Region of Cameroon.
Reports indicate that the 60-year-old woman, popularly known as mama Victorine and her grand daughter were on their way to the farm when they got knocked down by the speeding bike.
While her daughter, who sustained severe injuries was rushed to the hospital, mama Victorine on her part, unable to bear the pains and shock, succumbed to death.
According to one local, ” the old woman was knocked and pulled along on a distance of about 20 meters on the road.”
Few other persons, who include those on board of the commercial bike, were equally injured and rushed to the hospital.
