A woman by name Salamatou Isaa Salma has been arrested by the forces of law and order for kidnapping and murdering her nephew.
According to reports, Salamatou Isaa Salma kidnapped the 12-year-old boy in Bertoua, East Region of Cameroon after which she demanded the sum of 15 million FCFA from the family.
Not being able to provide the requested amount, the woman ordered the killing of the 12-year-old boy by her accomplices.
“After killing the 12-year-old boy, the murderers went ahead to dump the body into a well,” a source said.
Salamatou was however apprehended in Bafoussam, West Region where she ran to seek refuge.
She was captured by Lieutenant Mboula and his elements. She is now under the custody of the forces of law and order.
