Some workers abducted by gunmen in Ekok, South West region are said to have been freed.
“People around the community went searching and later found them in the hands of the kidnappers” a source reveals.
The victims he further confirms, were Nigerians.
The workers, all porters were kidnapped at a beach where they were loading and offloading goods.
Reports say four of the victims were able to escape but others were not so lucky.
Their abductors would later demand the sum of five million FCFA to secure their release.
