A fake gendarme officer whose only name we got as Bekome has been arrested in Yaounde, after dubbing people for more than one year.
According to reports, officers of the Nanga Eboko Gendarmerie brigade arrested the young man popularly known as “capi” on March 8.
Bekome first appeared before the Yaounde State Counsel on Tuesday, March 14.
Sources say he used the gendarme uniform to dub several people whom he also deceived he was working at the Presidency.
