Relatives of a lady named Sorelle in Yaoundé are in despair following the disappearance of their daughter from the Yaoundé Central Hospital days after giving birth.
It is reported that Sorelle had returned to the house on August 24, 2021, ten days after giving birth by caesarean section. She however returned to the hospital for blood transfusion two days later after her health condition started to deteriorate.
After the second bag of blood had been transfused, Sorelle who felt much better allegedly left her bed with only a loin cloth tied on, for a stroll around the hospital premises.
That was the last time that anyone in the hospital saw her as she has not returned till now. Her relatives say they have searched every nook and cranny of the hospital vicinity and her neighborhood to no avail.
A request by the family members of the missing woman for the hospital authorities to search through their surveillance cameras was rejected. They have since raised concerns wondering if the hospital has things to hide.
Sorelle’s relatives are become increasingly worried with each passing hour without their daughter found.
An investigation meanwhile, has already been launched to establish the mystery behind the strange disappearance of the nursing mother.
