50-year-old man found dead at his Bafoussam residence

A 50-year-old man whose name we got as Tchinda Simplice has been found dead at his residence, in Bafoussam, West Region of Cameroon.

A search was carried out at his home after colleagues didn’t see him at work for days.

His body was later found lying on his bed, after they and the victim’s relatives forced their way into his home.

“We trained for a job he had to do, but I was surprised he was absent at his place of work when I went there,” said a relative of the deceased.

Meantime, an autopsy has been conducted on the body — pending an outcome.

The body of Simplice has been kept at the Bafoussam reference hospital morgue by the elements of the Gendarmerie Brigade.
