At least some 52 persons detained in Connection with Anglophone crisis have been released from the Douala New Bell prison.
They were left off the hook today following a decision Thursday by president Paul Biya to discontinue legal proceedings of some Anglophone detainees.
The decision concerns some 333 persons charged with misdemeanors within the context of an armed conflict in Anglophone regions.
It’s the third time, Biya is ordering the released of persons detained due to the Anglophone crisis.
