Andek Mayor Blames CPDM for underdevelopment

The mayor of Andek council in Momo Division, North West region, Helley Ubangoh has regretted the fact that political intolerance is foiling the development initiatives in his municipality.

The mayor has called on his ruling CPDM party officials in the area to rally behind the actions of the council and has described intolerance as an impediment to the rapid execution of projects for collective interest.

The mayor noted that there is intolerance within the CPDM party across the board.

“Within the same party in my subdivision where luckily we have received a good chunk of state subsection in 2021, we are facing quite a big challenge and only people within my party are trying to frustrate the execution of projects”, he said.

This, according, to him is because they think that some people will be criticized if the projects are executed.
