The brutal killing of form one students in a private secondary school in Kumba on the 24th of October 2020 has been rated as the height of man’s inhumanity to man since the beginning of the anglophone crisis in 2016.

In a press conference in Yaounde Monday October 26th 2020, the national president of PCRN polical party challenged president Paul Biya to take responsibility and impose a state of emergency in the North West and South West regions. To the member of parliament, the military cannot effectively fight boys asking for the restoration of the state of Ambazonia without a state of emergency imposed.

Cabral Libii advices the president of the Republic not to listen to some of his close aids that have been feeding him with untrue information on the crisis. He says “Listen to Mancho Bibixy and Ngalim Felix. They have been sentenced already concerning the anglophone crisis but from their writings they are ready to collaborate in the process of bringing about peace in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon”. The parliamentarian failed to state clearly if the president of the Republic should grant clemency to the two sited above to ensure their effective participation in peace building in the embattled regions.

In another proposal on how to stop wanton killings in the anglophone regions of Cameroon, Cabral Libii is asking for an extraordinary national assembly to focus on the issue. The demand has been criticised by some political analysts who think the laxity of law makers in Cameroon in debating issues of the crisis at the national assembly is evident for everyone. They think Cabral Libii is asking for an extraordinary session of the national assembly simply because of the financial fall outs for law makers.

The leader of PCRN political party used the press conference to condemn the killing of students at Mother Francisca International Memorial Bilingual College.
