Archbishop Samuel Kleda condemns Ngarbuh Massacre; joins in prayer for peace

The Archbishop of the metropolitan diocese of Douala is challenging authorities in Cameroon to shoulder their responsibility and protect the lives of Cameroonians.

He expressed deep disappointment following the killings in Ngarbuh village in Donga Mantung division in the North West region of Cameroon on Friday February 14th 2020.

In a release addressed to all Catholic Christians in the metropolitan diocese of Douala; His Lordship Samuel Kleda quotes the Lord’s 5th commandment in the Holy Bible that says “Thou shall not kill”.

He says God instituted the sacredness of human life and therefore should not be taken for granted.

The Archbishop has also called on Christians of his diocese to join the diocese of Kumbo on Friday February 21st to pray and mourn for the people.
