A portion of the road linking Bafang and Banja towards Bafoussam in the west region of Cameroon is collapsing.
The unfortunate situation was discovered at about 11pm yesterday night by drivers plying the road.
The drivers say a greater part of the road has been chopped- off ,leaving a narrow stretch for vehicles to pass.
Despite this,road users have been expressing fears that the deep hole is gradually expanding thereby placing the lifes of road users in danger.
For now,it is not clear what is responsible for that.
They are calling on workers at the ministry of transport to shoulder their responsibilities and carry out immediate repair works.
