Some 2300 soldiers have joined the rangs of the Cameroon army. This follows the recent graduation of a new set of commandos from the Man O War Bay in Limbe, South West Region. The new increase is expected to boost government’s armed response to the secessionist factions in the Anglophone regions of the country.



Property owners along the Bonamoussadi -Akwa road in Douala are counting their losses after a fire broke out in a shop dealing in used tyres around the Coaf bakery. Reports say firefighters intervened early enough, minimizing the damage. Thw source of the fire remains unidentified at the moment.



Samuel Dieudonne, Governor of the Littoral Region has urged stakeholders of the region to work hard for the successful organization of the 20th May celebration, without expecting any compensation. This was during a planning meeting where it was revealed that the main civilian match past will last 45 minutes, while that of the military will last an hour, thirty minutes.

This was after the renowned football goalkeeper, through his foundation provided free medical services to children in two health facilities in the Nkomkala and Ngousso neighborhoods in Yaounde.



Late Bikutsi icon, Nkodo Sitony will be buried this weekend In Ka’a village, Centre region. He started his final journey. His body was taken out of the Yaounde Central hospital yesterday April 21. He passed away weeks ago.
