Cameroon rewarded for successful hosting of AFCON2021

The AFCON2021 opening and closing ceremonies which took place in Cameroon on January 9 and February 8 respectively, have received a golden award.

The award was presented during the 12th edition of the Global Eventex Awards.

The Global Eventex Awards being one of the most prestigious awards was launched in the United States of America in 2009.

The award aims to promote creativity, innovation and effectiveness amongst others.

The AFCON2021 opening and closing bagged the award under the category of “people’s choice events.”
