As part of its mission to help orphans, IDPs and street children, Voice of the Voiceless Organisation has donated assorted food items to House of Hope Orphanage in Mbengwi, a town in Cameroon’s Northwest Region.
This follows several other humanitarian efforts to help IDPs and orphaned children, with the organization recently awarding University scholarships to four students in some State Universities in the country.
The Mbengwi orphanage donation on November 21 crowns the Organisation’s end-of-year activities, a promise earlier made by its CEO, Christian Ngong Chindo.
The organisation has recently trained 100 young IDPs and orphaned females on bead designs and Ankara Craft across five regions, self-sustaining skills which could help them make a living, according to Bede Mbeng, General President of the Organisation.
Voice of the Voiceless was founded in April 2016 by US-based Cameroonian Philanthropist, Christain Ngong Chindo.
“… we know there are a lot of street children, orphans out there and many others can emulate our gesture,” said the Organisation’s President General, Bede Mbeng.
Although based in Yaounde, the Organisation has stretched its philantropic tentacles to help some of the thousands of children victimised by the crisis in the Anglophone regions.
