Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute has ended a four-day visit to the North West Region. Among other promises made by the official during his time in Bamenda was the completion of the stalled Bamenda-Babadjou road project.


Prime Minister Dion Ngute has left the North West regional headquarters but locals of several villages in Bamenda’s environs remain in the bushes. Over the past days, military raids in Kikaikom and Luh in the Bui and Donga Mantung Divisions have left many houses and properties destroyed.


Two suspected drug traffickers have been arrested in Yaoundé at Nkomkana by the Carrière Gendarmerie. The two suspects are said to be specialized in selling drugs in schools in Yaoundé.


At least 7 people have been killed in Assighiassa, Mayo Tsanaga Division, Far North region by Boko Haram terrorists. The attack was allegedly a retaliation act from the terrorists after their camp was attacked by the Rapid Intervention Battalion weeks back.


Late Sultan Ibrahim Mbombo Njoya of Bamoun will be buried tomorrow in the West Region. The Head of State, H.E Paul Biya has designated the Prime Minister to represent him at the ceremony.


A 60-year-old woman has been detained at Mile 4 police station in Bamenda, after being a victim of scam. She was given a sealed envelope and told it contained 1.5 million FCFA and that she should transfer the sum of one million at a mobile money kiosk before opening the envelope. After the successful transfer of the money, she returned home just to discover the envelope was stuffed with neatly cut papers.


A 16-year-old girl, form five student of a secondary school in Nkwen, Bamenda has been missing for two days. Neighbours say Carine returned home from school early Thursday with a bike rider, packed a few things and left the house without saying where she was going to.


Cameroonian football Center Back, Nicolas Nkoulou has signed for English Premier League club, Watford FC. He has signed a two-year contract on a free transfer from the Italian club, Torino.


Cameroon has beaten Mozambique three goals to one in a 2022 World Cup Qualifier, becoming second in its group just behind leaders, Cote D’Ivoire. The game was played at the Douala Japoma Stadium this evening.
