A bike rider whose name MMI got as Jonas Ngwa has been shot dead.
He was reportedly executed by soldiers on Tuesday August 23,2022 in Bafut, Mezam division of the North West region.
Sources say he was killed on suspicion of being a separatist fighter based on his hairstyle.
“Ngwa Jonas a bike rider was executed by the military at mile 11 Bafut just because of his hair cut. He never had any links with Amba” a source told MMI
“On Tuesday he worked the whole day and in the evening he dropped passengers at mile 11. Since it was raining they hid at the petrol station 15 meters away from the military check point,” the source narrated, adding that, “they were called by the military and they all identified themselves, before being asked to remove their caps.”
“Upon seeing his hairstyle, they asked the other guy to go and he was detained there and by 9 pm that same Tuesday, he was executed 500m away from the check point”.
