FECAFOOT confirms goalkeeper, André Onana is suspended for indiscipline

The Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) has confirmed the temporary suspension of the Indomitable Lions goalkeeper, André Onana.

It reiterated in a release signed today, November 28, that André Onana was suspended by the Indomitable Lions’ coach, Rigobert Song for disciplinary reasons.

“The Cameroon Football Federation reiterates its full support to the Head coach and its entire staff as they implement the Federation’s policy aimed at preserving discipline, solidarity, complementarity and cohesion with the national team,” the release read.

Today’s match was therefore played without the usual presence of André Onana on the field.

Many Cameroonians have however expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of Epassy at the goal during today’s match against Serbia.
