The Vice-president of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) has officially announced his resignation.
Njalla Quan Junior, made public his resignation in a letter signed on Tuesday July 4, 2023.
“Following your decision to suspend me from the executive committee of FECAFOOT, which in itself was full of many flaws, and understanding fully well how the “machine” has been programmed to run against me, I hereby inform you of my Immediate resignation as 4″ Vice president…” Njalla Quan stated in his resignation letter.
Njalla Quan Junior was suspended the previous week by FECAFOOT for criticizing the institution’s President Samuel Eto’o Fils.
In the letter, he called on the federation to purchase and distribute equipment to football clubs in the Southwest and Northwest Regions with, “Any pending financial benefits which I may still have; such as my mission allowances/bonuses for the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup.”
His resignation comes few hours after he suspended the activities of his Football Club popularly known as the Njalla Quan Sports Academy.
