Group predicts more violence in Anglophone regions as Int’l mediation process delays

A charity organisation, Benevolentaie International, BI has said peace in Cameroon will be hard to come by, without an international mediation.

While urging the AU, Commonwealth and La Francophonie heads who recently visited Cameroon to pilot a global mediation process to end the armed conflict in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon, Benevolentaie International, said “advising Cameroon is insufficient”. “…your visit to Cameroon should launch a neutral and international mediation process. Cameroon cannot guarantee peace and justice. More than 3000 have died, 600.000 displaces and millions in need,”.

BI has been documenting rights abuses and cases of violence in Cameroon for several months now..
