Workers at the Technical Service Department of the Cameroon Development Cooperation -CDC Tiko are on strike.
They are asking for the payment of thirteen months salary arrears owed them. They say their children have not resumed school for the 2019 /2020 school year because of no salaries. At the time of this report, the management of CDC has not issued a word. The disgruntled workers have promised to march to the DO’s office to table their complaint.
The CDC it should be noted has shutdown most of its farms following insecurity in the South West region of Cameroon.

This is not the first time workers at CDC which is Cameroon’s second employer after the state are going on strike. The company has suffered a huge financial loss and laid off thousands of workers as a result of the Anglophone crisis.
