Isidore Modjo has staged a series of protests in front of CRTV Head Office and the Ministry of Communication in Yaounde.
Isidore Modjo was reclaiming royalties for his intellectual property used by CRTV for 20 years.
Following a protest early 2017, the Prime Minister, Philemon Yang ordered the CRTV Board Chairman, Issa Tchiroma Bakary and General Manager, Charles Ndongo to pay FCFA 50 million to Isidore Modjo for using the jingles he composed without pay.
It took a longer time, but as a facebook post by Isidore Modjo indicates, the money owed him has been paid.
He was arrested at least twice this year for inciting public disorder.
Many were however taken aback when he suddenly featured in a video track calling on Cameroonians to vote for President Paul Biya.
