The National President of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement political party has challenged the government of Cameroon to urgently put in place a plan to reconstruct the war thorn Anglophone regions of country.

In a historic and crowed pulling meeting at the CRM Littoral regional headquarter in Grand Moulin Deido – Douala, Maurice Kamto said it is heartless, and a disgrace for the government of Cameroon to have failed to decree a national day of Mourning, in honour of the Ngarbuh-Ntumbaw Massacre.

On February 14th 2020, over 36 civilians mainly women and children were killed in Ngarbuh, a quarter in Ntumbaw village of the Ndu subdivision in Donga Mantung division, North West region of Cameroon.

Human Rights Watch’s report of February 26th 2020 said they were killed by Cameroonian soldiers.

Maurice Kamto presenting himself as a unifier said his mission is to transform Cameroon and give a deserving living condition to Cameroonians.
Maurice kamto promised a change in the lives of Cameroonian youths, who he says deserve better than what they are currently faced with.

In a show of force of numbers, Maurice Kamto pulled thousands of party supporters and sympathisers to the party regional headquarters in Douala, less than 48 hours after his tour of Europe and the American continent.

After the Deido meeting transformed into a rally, Maurice Kamto later led a caravan of thousands of supporters and sympathisers on a reconnaissance tour of some major spots in the city of Douala.
