Flood victims in Yagoua, Far North region are the latest to get humanitarian aid from the Cameroon government. The items include mattress among others.
The items were handed by Territorial Administration Minister Paul Atangana Nji on October 11, 2022 as part of relief measures following a recent flood in the locality.
The flood left many families homeless and starving after sweeping through their homes following heavy rains.
Distributing the items, Minister Paul Atangana did not fail to recite his favourite lines, in the name of the president of the republic.
He said President Biya had asked that urgent relief measures be carried out, as well as an evaluation of the natural disaster.
The Yagoua trip is one of multiple carried out by Minister Atanga Nji in the past months. He has made similar trips to the East hosting refugees from the Central African Republic, and to the Center region which was affected by floods.
