Yaoundé, Cameroon – The winners of the Miss Cameroon 2023 competition were recently honoured in a grand prize distribution ceremony that took place at the National Museum in Yaoundé, the heart of the Center Region of Cameroon. The event, which transpired on December 12, 2022, was a momentous occasion as the reigning queens were presented with their well-deserved rewards.

In an exuberant atmosphere, the First Lady of Cameroon, Mrs. Chantal Biya, graced the ceremony, bestowing generous prizes upon the beauty queens who had excelled in the 16th edition of Miss Cameroon.

The newly crowned Miss Cameroon 2023, Issie Princesse, walked away with a substantial cash prize of 5 million FCFA, marking her achievement on the pageant stage. Her victory was met with jubilation from her supporters and well-wishers who had eagerly followed her journey.

Monalisa Mouketey, the first runner-up, was not to be left behind in the celebration of her accomplishment. She received a commendable cash prize of 1.5 million FCFA, affirming her exceptional performance and beauty.

The second runner-up, Raissa Ngeuleu, was equally acknowledged for her grace and poise. She was presented with an envelope containing one million FCFA, a testament to her remarkable presence on the pageant stage.

In a heartwarming expression of gratitude, Issie Princesse took to her official Facebook page to extend her appreciation. She conveyed her thanks to the First Lady, Mrs. Chantal Biya, for her unwavering support and the generous bonuses provided to not only the winners but also to all the finalists who participated in the 16th edition of Miss Cameroon.

Beyond the cash rewards, Issie Princesse’s journey as Miss Cameroon 2023 is set to be enhanced by a monthly stipend of 150,000 FCFA, ensuring that she can continue to make a positive impact on the world. In addition to the financial incentives, Princesse will have the privilege of enjoying the comforts of an apartment and a brand new car, enabling her to discharge her newfound responsibilities as a cultural ambassador for the nation with ease and style.
