Two farmers lost their lives after their motorcycle was hit by a vehicle on their way to the farm along the Njombe-Penja road in the Littoral Region of Cameroon.
The incident, which took place on Saturday, February 11, around carrefour Njombe-Penja, equally left two others injured.
Reports say four people, including these farmers, were on the motorcycle when it was hit by the vehicle.
Eyewitnesses recounted that the vehicle in question hit the motorcycle in an attempt to dodge a pothole.
The vehicle’s driver is said to have sustained minor injuries from the incident, while two other farmers were critically injured.
They were rushed to the hospital while the deceased were transported to the mortuary, pending burial.
