Nkambe council embarks on decentralization of Women Empowerment Centres

The Nkambe council under the leadership of Mayor Musa Shey Nfor has embarked on a project to decentralize the Women Empowerment Centers to some villagers under the municipality.

Over the weekend, it was the turn of Tabenken. The village has benefited from a renovated building and received new equipment to boost the activities of women empowerment in Tabenken.

The Tabenken women have been empowered with a renovated cooperative building, industrial sewing machines, and furniture for the Tabenken decentralized women center.

The items were officially handed over to the Tabenken women on Saturday, November 13, 2021, by the 1st deputy mayor of the council, Mme Adjara Danjuma.
