Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has been nominated for Premier League’s Best Save of the Month award for April.
The Cameroonian shot-stopper is among six goalkeepers shortlisted for the prestigious accolade.
Onana’s stunning one-handed save to deny Burnley’s Lyle Foster during Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Old Trafford caught the attention of fans and pundits alike, earning him a well-deserved spot on the list.
His remarkable reflexes and agility have been instrumental in United’s defensive solidity throughout the season.
The 28-year-old is up against tough competition, with notable names such as Matz Sels of Nottingham Forest; Dean Henderson of Crystal Palace; Lukasz Fabianski of West Ham United; and Arijanet Muric of Burnley also vying for the award.
Supporters can cast their votes for the winner until 12pm BST on May 6.
Onana’s nomination adds to the excitement surrounding Manchester United this season, with his teammate Bruno Fernandes also in contention for the Player of the Month award.
Fernandes has been in scintillating form, scoring six goals and providing one assist in the last five league games.
The goalkeeper has played a pivotal role in the team’s defensive line, keeping eight clean sheets and making 132 saves in 34 appearances this football season.
