Eleven persons have perished after a luxury bus went up in flames in Ondo, Southwest Nigeria.
The bus, according to reports, went up in flames after colliding with a truck in Ore on the morning of Sunday, January 29, 2023.
The latest photographs from the accident scene showed the opulent bus, known as the ‘Marco Polo,’ entirely burned.

According to a witness statement, an unregistered Nissan bus was involved in the collision.
The driver of the vehicle lost concentration, according to Mr. Sikiru Alonge, commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps’ (FRSC’s) Ore Unit.
“Nineteen persons were involved in the fatal accident which comprises of ten male adults, five female adults, two male children, and two female children,” said Alonge said.
“Out of the 19 persons, eight persons were injured comprising of six male adults and two female adults while four persons died on the spot, comprising of two male adults and two female adults.”
According to the commander, the dead were brought to a mortuary while the injured were taken to the closest hospital for treatment.
