According to Denis Nkemlemo, the Senator who had spent the whole day in his Bamendakwe residence was Intercepted when he drove off to drop some technicians who were working in his house.

“One of the technicians had told the senator he had to leave for home early because of the security situation. The senator however objected and reiterated that he preferred dropping him off later when he was done than to leave with the work half done,” Denis Nkemlemo recounted.

At about 8 pm, the senator according to testimonies drove off with the technician to go drop him at Mile 2.

Moments after the Senator was driven off, Denis Nkemlemo says he was brought back to Mile 2 where had been abducted and abandoned by the side of the road with some bullet wounds visible on his body.

“He was bleeding profusely and wailing for help on the road,” Nkemlemo said.
