Secretary to Mbengwi Central DO found dead

The body of Enow Elvis Taku has been been deposited in a mortuary in Bamenda. He was found dead with his hands tied behind and stains of blood in his dresses resulting from wounds inflicted by bullets.

Enow Elvis Taku was the Secretary of the Divisional Officer for Mbengwi Central Sub Division – Momo Division in the North West Region of Cameroon. No one has claimed responsibility for his death but accusing fingers are pointing at separatist fighters.

The driver of the same DO, Sakwe Jarvis is equally reported to have been kidnapped Monday June 8th 2020.

Inhabitants of Bamenda think the attacks on the entourage of the Divisional Officer for Mbengwi Central Sub Division are calculated by boys fighting for the restoration of the state of Ambazonia.
