Soldiers are said to have shot dead a man and his sons in Bambui, Tubah subdivision of the North West region. They forcefully accessed his house around 3AM this Thursday March 31, 2022. The heavily armed soldiers later executed the man and his two sons at close range.

Their bodies were later discovered around the Tubah Council premises. It is still to be determined why the man, a worker with the Presbyterian Rural Training Center and his sons were killed.

Pa Mike, a native of Bambui told MMI that soldiers stationed in Tubah subdivision commit attrocities at will. “Killing persons, raping women including students of the University of Bamenda and other schools, extortion and many others are the trademark of these soldiers. This man and his kids were just killed like animals, Anglophone lives don’t really matter in this country,” our source said.

Reports hold that, the whole area has been occupied by soldiers this morning. They soldiers are said to have stopped the local population from coming close to the corpses. The population is said to be threatening to parade the corpses.
This is a developing story
