Some residents of Bafoussam in the West region of Cameroon have gone on rampage after a motorcycle rider was shot dead this evening by a gendarme officer.
The deceased biker and the soldier reportedly had a heated argument.
The angry crowd blocked several parts of the town to retaliate, as the gendarme was taken to safety by other forces of law and order.
