The Ambazonia Self Defense Council, ASC has denounced the killings of civilians in Muea, Buea on the 27th November, 2019.

Insisting that those killed by the Cameroon armed forces are ordinary civilians who are not part of the fighting force, the ASC says the incident was not the first of its kind, adding that the Cameroon armed forces “have continuously killed thousands of our civilians, burned hundreds of homes and rendered millions homeless”.

” We are calling on the international community to mount pressure on the government of Cameroon to stop the ongoing genocide ” it adds.

Subsequent government action the ASC added, will only prolong the ongoing conflict.

Government and Ambazonian fighters since the escalation of the crisis into an armed conflict have traded the blame for several rights abuses and actions in the regions, attracting criticism from within and without the country.
