Three suspected drug dealers have been nabbed in Yaoundé.
They were arrested by Gendarmerie officers in Yaounde, Centre Region of Cameroon.
The suspects were picked up following an operation on Friday, July 22, 2022.
The raid took place at about 4 p.m at a neighborhood known as Minkan Source.
According to the National Gendarmerie, the operation was carried out following “the recurrent attacks recorded on the Yaoundé-Nsimalen highway”.
An operation that led to the arrest of three suspects as well as the seizure of a large stock of fake medicines, 160 seams of Indian hemp, tobacco leaves, a knife, and two razor blades.
An investigation has however been opened, to lay hands on the other accomplices who are still on the run.
