Truck crushes school girl to death in Bafousam

A little girl has been crushed to death by a truck in Bafoussam, West region. This happened around 2;40PM today not far from the school she attended.


The kid whose only name MMI got as Merveille was said to be a pupil of Alpha Bilingual School in Banengo, Bafousam.
“She was crushed by a truck which was stationed beside the school. The truck was loading debris from a near by house,” a witness narrated .The truck driver is said to have stationed the vehicle and stepped out of it when it started moving.


Merveille who lives close to her school was the casualty as it crushed her against a fence. She was already home and though dressed in her uniform was already wearing a pair of slippers probably to go have fun with friends when her life came to a stop.


“… She only came out to watch her friends go home. Little did she know it was her last outing,” laments a witness. A passerby is said to have intervened, preventing other kids from also being crushed by the truck.
