Truck driver, assistants hospitalized after falling in river

A truck driver and two of his assistants have been rescued from a river in Mbatu village on the outskirts of Bamenda, Mezam division of the North West region.

The victims were said to be in a truck loaded with sand that skidded off the road and fell into the said river.

The incident happened this morning April 7, 2022.

The trio is receiving treatment at the Bamenda Regional Hospital.
