Celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of the University of Buea are expected to kickstart today May 25, 2023.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buea Prof Ngomo Horace in a release announced that the celebration would take place in the month of May.
The celebration according to the release was slayed to kickstart on May 25 and end on May 27, 2023, at the University of Buea campus.
The 30th anniversary is to be celebrated under the theme ‘University of Buca: Impacting the future together through Innovative Solutions”.
The main activities of the celebration according to the Vice-Chancellor include: ” Sporting activities, Community Human Investment, Open Day, Alumni Conference, Exhibitions, Ilistorical overview of UB, Fundraising for projects earmarked, Research and Outreach activities and Anniversary Ceremony.”
Staff and students have been called upon to participate actively in the said celebration.
