Several residents in Yaounde, some of whom are internally displaced persons, IDPs from the restive North West and South West Regions of Cameroon have been rendered homeless.
This follows a flood that brought down homes Sunday March 19, following heavy downpours.
The incident occured at Mewoulou neighborhood.
“This is the result of the floods that has made some IDPs stranded” a source told MMI.
“The floods broke the walls of some homes hosting internally persons.”
“Three IDPs were removed from the house after the collapse of a wall,” he added.
According to report, no life was lost.
But those affected have no where to go to as their abodes were affected by the floods.
