Suppliers continue to camp at the Douala office of coca and coffee company, COTEC over unpaid deals. They supplied cocoa but have not been paid millions owed them weeks after the deadline. They have vowed to stay at the company premises and prohibit any goods from being taken out till they are settled.




Surviving teachers of the November 24, 2021 Ekondo Titi school shooting say the gunmen responsible are still after them. They say despite supposed increased in security as announced by government, they continue to receive death threats for teaching. Government on its part has also threatened to sanction teachers that don’t return to classrooms, leaving them in a fix.

Two persons have died in a tragic car accident along the Mbalmayo-Ebolowa road today. Witness accounts say the bus was trying to avoid a stray dog on the road when it lost control. Twelve others are receiving treatment for injuries from the accident.



Maintenance work has stopped at the Pont rouge bridge in Maroua, Far North Region today after blood started gushing from the water beneath. An investigation has been initiated to logically investigate the cause of the blood flow.



Social media campaigns have been intensified to advocate for the release of former Director General of CRTV, Ahmadou Vamoulké from jail. The Journalist has already spent over 2000 days in prison and his case has suffered 88 adjournments. Vamoulké was arrested in 2016 for alleged embezzlement of State funds.
