Maurice Kamto, president of the MRC political party has condemned the gory act which saw Confort Tumassang, a 45 year-old woman and mother of four, hacked to death in the town of Muyuka in the South-West region.
In a statement , the opposition figure has expressed his embitterment, affirming that the inhumane act makes him to remember that of Florence Ayafor, a wardress beheaded in Bamenda about a year ago.
Kamto opined that, though separatists are responsible for this obnoxious act, the fault is entirely that of the government whom he accuses to have failed to resolve the socio-economic crisis plaguing the two English-speaking regions of Cameroon.
“My stance, as well as that of the MRC party is this: Let government take its responsibilities by putting an end to this incessant bloodshed!” he hammered.
